For the first time in its existence, the Electronics Goes Green 2020 conference took a virtual format this year. With more than 200 participants, over 100 papers, several workshops and a one-day live event, it provided a great opportunity for the PROMPT consortium to show results from the ongoing work and to receive feedback from participants. PROMPT organised the workshop “Durability in Electronics – Test approaches for longer lifetimes ” with more than 20 participants and contributed to the conference with numerous papers. Furthermore, R.U.S.Z. participated in the panel discussion “Recycling as circular economy?” and highlighted the need to stay within the inner loops of the circular economy including product lifetime extension through better reliability and reparability.
